This is a very sturdy garment rack. I use it in my clinic for my compression gear which is fairly heavy. After reading reviews on other cheaper items elsewhere that failed to stay up and comparing them to review about this one. I decided this was the best and safest option. I'm very happy with the quality of the rack and highly recomment it.
